As a first-generation American and the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, she enjoys reading voices expressing the connection that exists when everything -and so little- has changed. Shoshana studied Literature and Classics at the University of Central England and earned her MA and MFA Creative Writing in Poetry and Fiction in Denver. She lives in the foothills of Colorado with children, husband, and a slew of animals poised to take over the house (and world). Follow her on Twitter at @shoshana_surek.
