Laura Knott’s work has appeared in Hinterland, Boston Art Review, Leonardo, and other journals. She has edited a volume on Sky Art, curated exhibitions at MIT, produced a live-streamed performance in which dancers danced simultaneously in eleven countries, and performed at the documenta exhibition and in the California desert, among many other venues. In 1998, she produced Worldwide Simultaneous Dance, an online work in which dancers danced in 11 countries at the same time, on the theme of PLACE - as in, “This is me, dancing where I am.” She grows food and eats it.
Her recent video work has been screened in Greece, Mexico, and the United States.
