​Katie Hankinson

Katie is a recent graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a minor in Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology. Presently, she is a Masters candidate in the Mile-High MFA program at Regis University, focusing specifically in Fiction for Young Adults. Since 2015, Katie has worked for the Glenwood Springs Post Independent as a freelance reporter and photographer, the Ann Korologos Gallery as a social media manager, Minerva Rising Literary Magazine as an editorial intern, Sonderers Magazine as a senior editor, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of Fort Lewis College’s student literary magazine, Images, in her junior and senior year. Her passion is to create and to help others create, too.
