Day 158
Meg Reynolds
Read more of Meg Reynolds' poetry comic series in Inverted Syntax's inaugural issue!
Meg Reynolds Meg Reynolds is a poet, artist, and teacher living in Burlington, VT. Her work has appeared The Missing Slate, Mid-American Review, Fugue, Sixth Finch, The Offing, Inverted Syntax, and the anthology Monster Verse: Poems Human and Inhuman as well as The Book of Donuts and With You: Withdrawn Poems of the #Metoo Movement
About the work (reprinted from the January 2019 issue): "Last year [2018] represented a huge shift in my work as a consequence of a daily writing and drawing practice. I had always heard about writers who wrote every day and thought, 'I can't do that.' But when my job changed such that I could, I was able to take on and complete two massive projects including finishing one poetry manuscript and drawing a poetry comic every day for year. The comics featured here are a part of that daily comic project that ritualized the process of grieving the end of a relationship and starting my life again on my own."
